Metamorphosis - new release!

Karen hails from the artistic city of Adelaide, South Australia.  From the tender age of 6, Karen was winning Young Composers Awards for her piano compositions. Writing her first song at the age of 12, she has since won awards for her singing and her songs worldwide, including winning the London International Song Contest with her song Flame. Once signed to Polydor Records with her band Eve, Karen’s song What A Lover won a SAMIA award for most popular new release in her home state, South Australia. Having travelled and performed widely around Australia and on popular television shows such as MTV and Hey Hey It’s Saturday, Karen made the move to London, keen to expand her horizons and musical influences. Singing and writing music is her love, passion and sole motivation.

Metamorphosis, an album of inspiring and uplifting songs, is now available. Please go to the Metamorphosis area of this website for music, lyrics, and other information about the album. We hope you enjoy the songs!

Singer/Songwriter

Karen has a huge library of songs and has been writing for over 15 years. She has won awards in Australia, Japan, and the UK for various unpublished songs.  As well as Metamorphosis, Karen has recorded a special album of  therapeutic music called Healing Vibrations . This music fits into the 'New Age' market but is unusual in that it is a highly specialised product and contains a unique and original approach, mixing musicianship, channelled vocals and low frequency sound waves tuned to the spine.

The Colours We Sing - Singing 'therapy'  -  for singers from beginners to advanced.

Colours We Sing involves a seamless connection between spirituality, the voice, sound and colour working with the scale of music, colour and sound in the body and takes the form of private sessions and workshops.

Karen works with singers on a deep level, guiding them to listen to their own intuition to develop better feeling, technique and style by uncovering subconscious blocks and freeing the creative spirit. This style of voice work is as therapeutic in a spiritual way as it is beneficial on a technical level. It also, by default, gives new models for relating to life in a very practical way. It is exciting work and is the culmination of several years of research and experimentation with sound, colour and vibration. You can read more about it on the Colours We Sing page.

Lots of Rainbows to you all! xxx
