The 100 plus dual coloured ‘Equilibrium’ bottles contain energised, living colour energy and are the core of the Aura Soma system. The top half is oil based, and the bottom half is water based, and they contain the energy of natural plants and crystals. Once you have had your bottle selection interpreted for you, together with your practitioner, the ‘therapeutic’ bottle is chosen. This is the bottle that you apply to the relevant part of your body on a regular basis to help you discover or bring out the talents/challenges you are most ready to develop at this time. ‘You are the colours you choose’ and by working with your current colours you will find sometimes subtle and sometimes dramatic changes can take place in your life. It is amazing how much information and symbolism is contained within colour. Learning about this has definitely enhanced my life, my understanding of myself, and given me a tool that I can use on a daily basis to protect my energy, and to help support the growth of my talents, and gently nurture me through my personal ‘challenges’.
Pomanders and Quintessences
Alongside the Equilibrium bottles stand the Pomanders and Quintessences. These are applied to the hands or wrists and then around the body and are used for the protection of the Aura or energy field, or for bringing in information from ‘above’ on a particular ray of colour. These are very useful in supporting the themes you are working on, and also very handy for the changing situations of life. For example I use the green pomander before I travel on the tube, because I suffer from mild claustrophobia down there – and it helps calm me, and protect my personal space and eases my breathing. Saint Germain Quintessence, which is a pale violet, is very good for healing on all levels. It is calming and balancing, and is very good for empathising in the realm of relationships or therapy.
Some people say, well this colour, say Orange, has been my favourite colour for years, so how can this changing system of colour be of any relevance to me? Well, until you open yourself to colour, and begin to understand WHY you are attracted to Orange, then the colour will keep coming to you until you move through it. Also, we do have ‘soul’ colours that remain our favourites over a lifetime, because they represent our true selves – but alongside these colours are other colours we are drawn to and others we dislike, and these do change and flow in our life depending on what is going on. Using the Aura Soma system addresses all these things and then some. Also, once you stand before the bottles on display, with intention, you might find that you are drawn to colours that may not be your favourites. This is the mystery and magic of the system – that somehow our intuition leads us to where the best help is.
Can I choose and order my bottles without a consultation? Yes you can. There are ways to do this, through me, via the Aura Soma website, books, or contacting any Aura Soma practitioner in your area. However, unless you are well versed in colour yourself – in the healing and spiritual sense, then you are missing out on an important and major part of the process. Choosing the first bottle you are drawn to may not be the best one to start on, and only through a consultation can you find out what is the best course of action.
